Zombie Bloodbath 2: Rage of the Undead (1995)

poster

Summary: It’s 1945 in Topeka, Kansas and some bad guys are looking to steal some loot from a farmer. Little do they know that a mob of Satan worshippers are near and they’re gonna torture our bad guys. One gets turned into a demonic scarecrow and gets tied up in a corn field. Present day and eventually the scarecrow gets loose and raising his fellow corpses from the ground, they’re out to wreck havoc on the local town.

Overall: The film was shot better than part 1 but the acting is just as bad. The story still isn’t very good, especially when a random slide of a nuke explosion just magically gets inserted into the film with no explanation before or after. The film’s basic point is to show zombie carnage and gore and they do that quite wonderfully here. But the film is still such a mess and the silly Public Service Announcement at the end. Well, I didn’t know creator Todd Sheets was the next Michael Moore. Oh and through 2 films, I’m waiting for the new 2007 DVD artwork to match the films…it hasn’t yet!
