Summary: Will and Keli are just trying to have a nice fun life together when a demon takes the body of a magician. Cain figures out a way to hypnotize and take control of Will and soon has Will to do his bidding. Cain is determined to take over and have Will kill everyone that Cain demands! But there’s a weird Reverend with the soul of another spirit inside who might throw a wrench into Cain’s plans.
Overall: This was in many ways the usual “Witchcraft” far: low on plot, all nudity and sex. However one major difference was this was a very weak and apparently forgetful characterization of Will. He’s a powerful warlock and just spent the last 3 films fighting demons and the Devil. And yet in this film, he forgets his magic, forgets his past and just is a useless pile of goo when dealing with Cain. Basically it’s like our writers took the character name and then re-wrote his past. Which is never a good thing. Just ruined the film for me because our aggressive and sexually potent Will would normally not have acted like this pansy does. Skip this one. Comparison: Lord of Illusions meets Witchcraft IV |
