Witchcraft XI: Sisters in Blood (2000)

Summary: Will Spanner is back again, this time with his girlfriend “Kelly” whose little sister is still in college and trying to act in a production of Macbeth. What the sis doesn’t realize is that one of her fellow actresses is an actual witch and soon conjures up one of 3 demonic sisters. Then after one of the 3 ladies, gets possessed…she ends up possessing the 2nd actress and the drama teacher (with a male demon), all leading up to Kelley’s sis as the ultimate prize. But Will Spanner won’t let that happen.           Overall: The problem with these films that despite the previous movies, they still have the characters treat each other as if they have never worked with these people before. It’s fairly ambiguous that Will’s “girlfriend,” Kelly” is the same “Keli” as the prior films. Considering that it’s spelled differently this time and the 2 detectives get introduced to her, as if they met her before, I think the intent was to be different…and yet she basically has the same name. Who knows.           The film is still a big-time, topless film which the 3 actresses and whomever else they can find, all having sex with each other. Finally, even Detective Lutz shows some skin as she gets raped by the invisible male demon. However Lutz’ outfits still leave nothing to the imagination…which isn’t a bad thing. Overall, the problem with the film is the nudity occurs for no reason, has nothing to do with the basic plot but yet still shows up every 3-4 minutes. The acting is substandard though and basically, no reason to watch this film except to continue following the series. But between this and the other 12 films…no special reason to go rent this one.           Comparison: Witchcraft meets Bring It On
