The Evil Djinn is back and this time he possesses the body of a Professor at Baxter College. Diana is a history student who enjoys the discovery of artifacts so much she stumbles across the Professor’s personal possession which include the Djinn’s ruby. But the professor didn’t know what he had until it possesses him. Now the Djinn is going to force Diana to make her 3 wishes. But Diana has a secret weapon on her side, the Angel Michael!
Overall: Well the absence of Andrew Divoff is very alarming and obvious. Jason Connery as the Professor and John Novak as the Djinn are very weak and useless in the role so I gotta say no to watching the film. The ending is silly and the idea of bringing the Angel Michael into this cheesier. The whole idea of the Djinn was that he was created with the Heavens & the Earth by God with no angels ever mentioned. How come no one ever asked for Jesus to help before? How about wishing for God to help? What made parts 1 & 2 great is the women came up with ingenious ways to beat the Djinn & did so with their mind. This lady is cheating and shows too much weakness! Oh, and ¾’s of the cast is Canadian and quite a few worked together prior, in "Ripper: Letter from Hell." Comparison: I Know What You Did Last Summer meets Paper Chase |
