Wireface: In the Beginning (2011)

Summary: Following the death of his daughter, Jessica, Xavier Paris returns to his childhood home and unearths more than just repressed memories of his childhood. "Wireface: In the Beginning..." is a prequel featurette which details the tragic life of Xavier Paris and what ultimately drives him into becoming the serial killer known as Wireface.           Overall: This is just the 20 minute short with plenty of webisodes available. So judging by this 20 minutes, I know we all gotta go find more. And that’s my gut feeling after finishing it. I want more. What made him snap…what’s he gonna do? The film hints at a lot of stuff but obviously doesn’t deliver too much – it is a short film and you’re gonna wanna follow it up. But you can see we have a nice cast who knows what they’re doing. We have just enough yumminess of a plot to need to finish this off. So really nice work here!           Comparison: Uncle Sam meets Delivery
