Vault of Horror (1973)

          1) Midnight Mess – A greedy brother is looking for his sister to tell her the bad news. Their parents died and she’ll be next. Too bad he’s walked into the wrong town!

          2) The Neat Job – A man wants his home well-organized by his new wife but she can’t seem to get anything right, until the day he can’t complain about it anymore.

          3) This Trick’ll Kill You – A magician is looking for new tricks and comes across an Indian shaman performing a few as if they were actually real stuff. Once the magician full embarrasses the shaman, he finds a real trick he can’t break and soon it will break him.

          4) Bargain in Death – Be careful for how you plan your death since not everyone may be in on the secret!

          5) Drawn & Quartered – An artist is vengeful upon hearing the wrong people are making money off of him he gets some special powers from a island sorcerer. When our artist paints a victim, anything happening to the painting, happens to the victim...but he better be careful when drawing himself!

This is really just a further collection of “Tales from the Crypt” stories from the 1970’s. Some neat stuff there but not as good as the first film. I think the best is “Midnight Mess” as a brother goes to find his sister and realizes the company she keeps now. “This Trick...” is the most fun although the acting is a little weak. But typical “Crypt” fare here with the usual British legends in the lead roles.
