Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl (2010)

Summary: Transfer student Monami has a secret but has decided to woo a cute boy in her school, Mizushima. She deceives Mizushima into eating a token gift of chocolate laced with her blood. But doing so starts to turn him into a vampire, she makes his wanna-be girlfriend Keiko none too pleased. Soon she ends up dying in a fight with Monami but it’s a good thing her father is a crazy scientist and he reawakens her as “Frankenstein Girl.”           Overall: Just a fascinating and enjoyable over the top gorefest. It’s beyond obnoxious with it’s silly songs and sillier stereotypical characters. But it’s beyond crazy and nothing compared to the stuff we come out with here in America. I found it a film I couldn’t turn away from and enjoyed every second of it. Just when you think the film is trying to insult and offend with it’s characters, it mold them seamlessly into the plot and makes it work. Great film to watch.
