Up For Rent (2004)

Summary: A coupe is looking for a nice quiet house to move into and at the last moment our realtor ends up bringing the couple to this house, with a very interesting history to it.           1) Push – Cynthia thinks she has finally reached the pinnacle of her work but realizes her husband has some secrets he’s hiding from her. She suspects he’s cheating on her and she’s out to prove that no one does that to her.           2) Eye to Eye – Sometimes to do what the love of your life wants, you must just kill some people…but what if there is a copycat killer waiting for you?           3) Wanna Be Deadly – This guy wants to be a serial killer…he’s just not sure how the world is gonna react to this new side of him.           Overall: For an indie film, the movie is decent. The biggest problem I had is much of this has been done before, including the wrap-around story (Terror Tract). But some nice performances, some good ideas. I liked the final story’s update ala “Guilty Conscience” (with Anthony Hopkins). I say take a chance. The best story is the first one.
