Trilogy of Blood (2010)

Summary: When a trio of sexy city gals picks up a broken-down hillbilly in the backwoods of Virginia – the three kittens get A LOT more than they bargained for when they accept the drifter’s invitation to a down-home barbecue. What these lovely ladies don’t know just may hurt ‘em – when they find that the menu of this hayseed hoe-down isn’t the standard ‘burgers and dogs’…           Overall: I was introduced to this film by the lovely Brenna Roth and she put in a tremendous performance in this short film by Ruckus Productions. It’s got some oldtime camera shots, some psychobilly music and acting and just some good old-fashioned gore! Lots of nudity, lots of blood, lots of sex. So much stuff in a short film had been begging for more. I thought the film showed me promise for future work by Ruckus Productions and I hope to see more. Nice concise story, some decent acting. The editing was a tinge choppy but for the most part I was kept interested and excited about what was to come next. Good job!           Comparison: From Dusk till Dawn meets Road House
