To the Devil a Daughter (1976)

Summary: An American novelist tries to save the soul of a young girl from Satanists, led by an excommunicated priest. But the novelist will get caught up in the battle himself and will soon be unable to get out of it!           Overall: I loved the cast in this film: Richard Widmark, Christopher Lee, Nastassja Kinski, Denholm Elliot, and Honor Blackman. The story was sorta “blah” for me. For me, it’s been 100 times – although this is now in hindsight. But it just didn’t seem to offer anything for me. It was Hammer Films’ 2nd to late release and you can see the studio was losing its imagination, its spirit. You may enjoy the film for the cast or parts of the film but the entire viewing is sorta boring. Just nothing to keep your interest.           Comparison: Rosemary’s Baby meets Lost Souls
