- Tim "Crow" O'Hearn has appeared in many movies, including a role in "Call Waiting". Anyone looking for more info on Tim or his films, can visit him at his IMDB page or his FaceBook page or his myspace page: www.myspace.com/crowacting.
Q: Hi Tim, glad to have you back again. Without giving too much away for later questions, what have you been up to since we last talked (July 2009)?
A:
And I’m very honored to be back for more bloody mayhem Rich. I have stayed
busy with my punk band, the PushRods and movie roles, working on some great
films. I got to play a Creepy Hotel Clerk “the Magenta Shamrock”, a Creepy guy on the phone in “Call Waiting” and a tall Creepy, evil person in “the Haunted Boy”. Do you see the Theme here? I’m now known as “Creep”!! lol
Q: Tell me a little bit about some of your new projects. First, “Call Waiting.” How did you get involved and what’s it about?
A:
Actually director Luc Bernier was familiar with one of the production companys I had done films with and emailed me through my IMDB page. Luc explained they were looking for a “Creepy” phone guy, he loved my photos and wanted to discuss the details of the movie if interested. Obviously I accepted! I mean, how could I turn down playing a Creep? lol
In the vein of Creep Show and Tales from the Crypt “Call Waiting” is one part of a trilogy film titled “Dead Ink”. Each part has the common theme of tattoos. “Call Waiting” takes you back to the old school slasher films where you don’t see much of the Creep until the end.
Q: Knowing how movie reviews may skew the perception of one's product, give us in your own words what you want people to know about the film.
A: You will love how unnerving it will make you … I will creep you out!
Hot chic, creepy guy… the Ending will KILL YOU!!! ;-)
Q: Tell me a little bit about some of the films you’ve worked on recently. First, “Magenta Shamrock.”
A: The Magenta Shamrock is a short film by Director Cameron Dozier and producer John Shaivitz , that follows the reunion of lost lovers. A video of them having sex 30 yrs ago is found on the internet, and unites them back together. I play the Creepy, perverted hotel clerk where the couple used to meet for their rendezvous. Cameron and John were a lot of fun to work with and were able to really bring out my perverted, creepiness. Which really wouldn’t be a far stretch for me lol . there is a trailer posted with the latest news of a rough cut of the film has been completed with a premier to happen later this summer.
Q: Also recently you have been working on “The Haunted Boy”?
A:
Yes, in “The Haunted Boy” I play Roy a real-life person- a gentle giant -if you will, who has since died and has the persona of the Devil. It’s a Booth Bros. SpookedTV, production which will be shown on SyFy channel in Oct. Christopher Booth and his brother Philip Booth have created some of the best haunted documentaries and movies for years. The film was shot near Buffalo, NY at paranormal hotspot, Rolling Hills Asylum. Roy is one of the regular apparitions seen at Rolling Hills. The Booth Bros. were a lot of fun to work with and definitely know their craft. I’m really excited to see this movie on TV come Oct.
Q: And other projects that I haven’t asked ya about?
A:
Not really the horror genre but I’m cast in a Mob film “Avengeance”.
I get to play one of the Mob Boss’s henchmen in the huge shootout finale
with tons of gun fire and blood squibs !!!
Q: Can you tell me what else you have planned for 2010?
A:
I have some stuff coming up and constantly networking online and talking with directors. I have been cast in “Bloodball” as a featured extra. The film stars Richard Pryor Jr. and I play a Redneck, friend to the character Rusty and appear in a couple of big fight scenes. Also on this film I will be working with my good friend Damien Colletti. Waiting to hear specifics about a role in a horror feature film shooting in Cleveland, OH within the next couple months and also working out details for a production in upstate NY. So 2010 looks to be a busy year for me, which is a great thing and can’t wait to see what it all brings!!!
Q: Anything else you wish to add for my readers and visitors?
A:
If you like “Creepy” you must check me out in “the Magenta Shamrock”, “the Haunted Boy” or “Call Waiting”… don’t forget to checkout all my links/pages
and drop me a line, good, bad or indifferent.
Q: Finally...can you name a horror movie you’ve been dying to watch but just haven’t had the opportunity to see yet?
A:
I have heard a lot about “the Human Centipede” and how sick it is so I definitely need to see it. Also “Old Boy” was described to me by a friend as “Fucked”. So I definitely have to see that now as well!
Q: Thank you very much for doing this.
A:
No Thank You for having me back again…and for all of you who actually read
This far, a Big Thank You!!!!
