Things (1989)

Summary: Doug Drake and his wife Susan can't have children. Haunted by nightmares of a woman wearing a devil mask saying she has already had a baby, Doug is worried about his wife’s health. They've made the choice to have Susan artificially impregnated by Dr. Lucas but on this weekend, things are gonna take a turn for the worse!!!           Overall: Well if you were looking for some hilariously bad horror, you’ve found your movie right here. It’s just a jumbled mess of visuals, plot veins and cheesy effects. And the creatures aren’t that great either. What makes the film watchable and a treat to behold, is the dialogue. The actor's interactions with each other are quite funny. Our intrepid news reporter’s acting is so brutal but you will fall off your chair laughing at it. Then toss in the hair styles, outfits and the fact it was made during the glorious 80’s, it’s worth it for a horror movie night with your friends. Keep the drinks and snacks flowing and enjoy the film in all its awfulness.           Comparison: Night Crawlers meets Rosemary’s Baby
