Summary: A bunch of young adults looking for adventure lie their way onto a gangster's yacht thinking they find fun but instead, the gangster has invited them to help distract the authorities. It turns out a mutated cat which escaped from a lab has also found its way onto the ship as well!
Overall: Wow…this was a terrible film. Cats must be probably the worst and most fake looking “killer” animal in movies. At least you can get most animals to attack, real or CGI animals, that look realistic…dogs, tigers, etc. Cats are a little too low-key and apathetic and every cat film I’ve watched has been retched. Basically filmmakers using cats know this so they get the cat to run around and jump but when they need an attack scene, it’s obviously a pretend/stuffed animal that does the attacking and all realism is tossed out the window. It’s really bad here too. The plot is just laughable and frankly I can’t imagine how anyone signed off on the money to make this since none of the characters have any connection to anything. All just a buch of weird choices placed in an odd location which an even odder choice for a mutant cat. If you had to do the mutant cat, am sure there are many more realistic places to accomplish this. And the toy boats sitting in the bathtub, being hit with waves…wow. Pathetic.
