The Unborn II (1994)

Catherine knows her son Joey is special. He's just a normal child in an abnormal body. Well a normal psychotic child who has ESP and other telekinetic powers. Enough to brainwash his mother into doing what he wants. But Linda knows this is all a trick - her daughter was a product of Dr. Meyerling's too and she survived the brainwashing and now she spends all her time stopping the carnage that kids like Joey inflict on society. But John has an interest too - he was an assistant to the good doctor and he isn't about to let anyone kill off his projects. But he's gotta to take on Joey at his own risk. As brainwashed as Catherine is, she still has motherly instincts of survival!
Overall: If you were pro-life before, I doubt you'd be after this film. These aborted fetuses keep getting more evil - a perfect pro-choice argument. Kid is grotesque and fake looking, along the lines of the zombie kid from "Dead Alive" - but that one was cuter and also more flexible. This film is just weak and never even approaches the seriousness or even plot concepts in the first film. I'd say skip this one, big time! Comparison: Dead Alive meets Pacific Heights |
