Summary: Accompanied by a temperance society worker, Annabella Vandenburg, Captain Labiche arrives on the Caribbean island of Corbay to become the new military governor. He is determined to stamp out the native's superstitions. Annabella's uncle, plantation owner Karl Von Molder, happens to live on the island but he may not be who she thinks he is. Once the Captain starts to mess with the status quo, the islanders natives decide to use their new friends as snake bait.
Overall: If the film didn’t have Boris Karloff in It, you could quite expect no one would ever have seen this film. It’s so slllllllllllloooooooooow!!!!! Just a bad, boring film from the first moment to the last. Much of the scenes are just dancing…with no visual purpose. They’re just “there”. Skip this.
