Summary: Everyone in town knows not to take the shortcut through the woods by the old Hartley place. It's been fenced off for years, ever since a bunch of kids disappeared. These days, there's only just a crazy old man who keeps to himself. But Derek and his little brother, Tobey, are the new kids in town, and when Tobey takes the shortcut on a dare, he sees a slaughtered dog. When word gets out that there was, in fact, a dead body, there sure will be more bodies (animal or human) to be found!

Overall: I will say that as predictable as the film can be at times, what is unique is the lengths these folks went to cover-up the secret. Once you realize where the bad guy is (and who he is)…there’s at least some ingenuity used there. I liked the cast…Raymond J. Berry, William B. Davis, etc. Nice cast really but the film spent way too much time discussing the plans to go find the old man and not enough time truly interacting there. But worth 1 viewing.

Comparison: People under the Stairs meets Simon Says
