Summary: Sun-Jae and her daughter, Tae-Soo, are on their own. Sun-Jae caught her husband cheating on her and now they’re on to a new life. However Sun-Jae has found this pair of abandoned shoes in the subway. Looking in good condition and o one around, she takes them home but soon we see that who ever owns the shoes, turns evil. Soon enough the shoes tend to effect everyone turning them all into greed, evil people and eventually Sun-Jae realizes to save her daughter, they gotta get away from it all!
Overall: The film is decent, has some nice ideas. Worth a viewing. What bugged me more than anything...was that the shoes are pink!!!!! Either get shoes that are really red or alter the title...but every time I saw the shoes, I was reminded of the title and the fact that the shoes are not red!!!! This bugged me tremendously the entire film..despite the fact the film is sorta decent. Some nice stuff here…bit confusing at times, as the whole optician storyline just shoes up one day without warning. But folks…if you’re gonna title it “red shoes,” then get “red” shoes!
