Summary: In 1920 an archaeological expedition discovers the tomb of an ancient Egyptian child prince. Returning home with their treasures, they realize that the mummy is not actually the prince, just his bodyguard who was given a bracelet of the Pharaoh by the dying child. The expedition soon find themselves being killed off by the mummy when a guardian of the tomb reads an incantation to bring it to life.
Overall: Nothing new here to really justify watching this film. It’s the same ole Mummy stuff and if anything, it might look even more fake that most films. Instead of having a mask with a mouth opening for the outfit, this is closed with a drawn-on circle where the mouth should be. Ugh! You’ll even note around the 18 minute mark, the Mummy breathing as the camera pans around the room. Nice editing, huh? Skip it! Comparison: The Mummy meets the Mummy’s Kiss |
