Summary: Rick and Evelyn O’Connell’s son Alex is now an archaeologist and uncovers a tomb in China, which contains the body of the Emperor Han and his army of warriors. Rick and Evelyn have retired from adventuring and she has become a successful author writing fiction based on their mummy adventures. However, Rick feels bored being settled down and yearns for adventure. The British government then requests that they accompany the valuable Eye of Shangri-La back to China. But when they arrive, The Eye is taken at gunpoint and used to revive the emperor. In order to fully be restored to human form, the emperor needs to travel to Shangri-La and bathe in the Pool of Eternal Life, whereupon he will gain the powers to change shape and bring his army back to life. And they must stop him!

Overall: I’m sorry but this didn’t look good even before I watched it and sure didn’t get better once I turned it on. Sadly, they broke the mold after the first film and this is literally a rehash with new bad guys doing the same stuff. They tried…spent tons of $$ on the film but frankly, I saw nothing of interest here. And frankly it was too silly at times. The airplane coming to a screeching halt with nose on the ground, barely avoiding tipping over? But the whole Abominable Snowman was just wrong. Had they left them out, I probably give the film a better review, but their presence was just unacceptable. And them signaling “Field Goal”….Please. Just so wrong. Do skip this. Please.
