The Hitcher (2007)

Summary: Jim and Grace are on their way to Spring Break when they end up picking up a hitchhiker. Things don’t go well and soon he’s attacking them and just as quickly, he’s booted from the car. But this is only the beginning as our 2 heroes spend much of the trip west being stalked by him and they have no idea why!           Overall: Amazingly enough, this film is basically a copy of the first film with an extra main character thrown in. Pretty much scene by scene. I just wondered what the point was in remaking it if all you would do is copy, copy, copy. And just like the first film, I found it just as unrealistic and unbelievable. The deleted scenes are simply gorier versions of the scenes included in the film. Alternate ending was much gorier and frankly didn’t fit the film in my opinion so good choice to keep it out.           Comparison: The Hitcher meets Jeepers Creepers
