The Ghost (1963)

Summary: Dr. John Hitchcock is dying of terrible disease and basically has to be poisoned to survive it. Knowing this, his wife is conspiring with his doctor to finish the job so she can inherit everything and loot the house of hidden treasures. Problem is, he dies, she loots but she forgot one thing...the dead don’t leave anything behind, except themselves. Soon Margaret is seeing and hearing things and she’s starting to wonder if her husband is back for revenge.           Overall: Lots of people find this film enjoyable for the Italian atmosphere, colors, etc. Every print of the film is known to be quite damaged so unfortunately catching this film nowadays may take away from it’s effect.. And frankly, I missed whatever special this film had about it. Nothing new or special here and you can see the ending from a mile away. But go ahead, give it a one-time shot.           Comparison: (any typical Tales from the Crypt episode)
