Brotherhood IV: The Complex (2006)

Summary: The Black Skulls are a secret society that controls Port Nathan Military Academy. Seems that it’s a privileged society that must have young nubile men in their fold. But one particularly good looking and smart transfer student is their new target but he’s got some secret friends who are gonna use him to drag down the society once and for all.           Overall: The usual David DeCoteau fare so if you are watching this, please tell me you at least saw his prior films. I read some other person’s review how this was their first DeCoteau movie. I feel sad for those people. Anyone watching “part 4” of a series, as their first one…just isn’t giving respect to the films...or even the genre. At least see the first film.           Anyway, if the creator’s name include “DeCoteau” then you know, mostly naked young men will follow. Almost every guy at one point or another drops down to their undies and tromps across the scene. My biggest “beef” with David is that he always portrays his characters as “heterosexual” and expects us all to buy these underwear-wearing in public boys…as normal. David...call all the guys gay and just quit with the illusions!! Anyway, if your up for close-ups of boys in wet undies (right after leaving the Jacuzzi), with close-ups, then this film is for you. And oh by the way, we have one lady in the film...and don’t think for a second she’s doing anything other than keeping her clothes on. As for our ultimate “secret” on who our society involves…wish David would stick with the original concept of Vampires and call himself “even.”           Comparison: The Skulls meets Succubus
