Tarantula (1957)

Summary:
A spider escapes from an isolated desert laboratory experimenting in gigantism and grows to tremendous size as it wreaks havoc on the local inhabitants.
Overall: It’s the usual 1950’s sci-fi mutated Monster film. Nothing special or different here other than it’s a different animal. It’s an amusing watch with good friends and some beers so if that’s what you can plan your film around, I saw go for it. Watching it sober and alone? The skip this! Comparison: Them! meets Killer Shrews. |
