The Stink of Flesh (2005)

Summary: Matool is just trying to survive in this zombie wasteland, called the United States. He ends up kidnapped by Nathan who needs someone to keep his wife satisfied (if you know what I mean) and soon she’s not happy with just one plaything. But the zombies keep showing up and eventually the troops will have to fight to save their lives!           Overall: Well can I say...I was quite pleasantly surprised with this film. It really was a good film with some nice ideas, lots of new stuff...quite enjoyable. And the fight scenes were well choreographed too. I definitely found a lot to enjoy in this movie, and you definitely get the idea that despite any low-budgetness, they made everything work. The zombie girl was both cute and a great idea, given the plot. The tagline though says it all for the film: How do you live an alternative lifestyle when everybody's dead? You have a hubby just trying to get guys into the house to keep his sex-starved wife satisfied while at the same time, trying to avoid the flesh-eating zombies and post-apocalyptic scavengers. And don’t forget the kid who says nothing but watches everything. Some good stuff here. I will take some issue with the ending in that I’m not a big fan of it, but the film kept my interest and I respect it enough to leave the ending without further criticism.
