Splatter Farm (1987)

Summary: Twin brothers have visited their Aunt for the summer and soon discover not all is well on her farm. She’s got their dead uncle’s body in the house and she’s doing some unnatural things to it. Her farmhand, Jeremy, seems to be doing unnatural thing s to everything else. And oh, there’s more than enough gore to keep you fulfilled!           Overall: Knowing when I popped this into the DVD player that it was created by the Polonia brothers, I knew it was gonna be a bad film. What I didn’t realize is how utterly boring it would be. The “gore” is so fake, so cheesy, it’s simply neither believable nor fun. And when the music plays and people start walking around with no dialogue…it just gets boring.           Bad film. Some net reviewers like to point out the “historical significance” of the film and the directors. Good for you…you do that on your site. Tell me why this bad film is worth watching because it’s not entertaining.           Comparison: Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets Field of Dreams
