Spike (2010)

Summary: Four young adults crash their car on a lonely road. Upon leaving to inspect the damage, one of the victims is captured and killed by a creature, partially human looking for love!           Overall: This is sort of a monster romance-y film. My basic problem with the film was how dark it was, and not in a good way. Everything is so dark, you’ll be squinting to figure out what’s going on. We have a monster and how much he loves one of our victims and want he’ll do to keep her around. But it’s very talky…very slow…           Lots of folks love this film. They find it different than other films, unique, imaginative. And I’ll give you my recommendation. Go find a copy. Decide for yourself.           Comparison: Shrek meets Beauty and the Beast
