Species 4: The Awakening (2007)

Summary: Miranda is a college professor who is very good at both her and looking beautiful. Problem is, she’s really a hybrid alien creature who’s about to realize her true hidden identity. Her “uncle” helped create her and now she’s dying and he’s gotta help her. But when he finds his former scientist buddy and his team of hybrid’s, there will be room for only one hybrid alien. Miranda is gonna fight to be the winner!           Overall: Not really sure anyone needed this film but what the film seemed to accomplish was its point of…female nudity. Frankly there wasn’t any other reason to make this, right? They had a plot…the uncle, the partner, Mexico…but then never connected it to the prior 3 films. They never explained how these 2 guys ever got access to the alien dna in the first place. Sorta just jumped 25 feet away from starting line and then went from there. So film makes little to no sense at all and figures only to “titillate” you as a viewer! And if that’s what you’re looking for, then part 3 was much better than this film!           Comparison: Species meets D.A.R.Y.L.
