Summary: Michael is a writer who needs to do some research for his serial killer novel. Problem is, he’s receiving tapes of confessions from actual killers as well as tapes from victims, seconds away from dying. What can he do when his subject gets a little too personal?
Overall: If there was ever a film where you complain that there is either too much nudity or frankly the nudity is a little too disturbing, this would be the film. Hey, I’ll give Ryan Cavalline credit…he got a lot of actresses to appear nude, vulnerable as well as all tied up and in bondage. I can only imagine how difficult it was with some scenes to shoot. All credit to him for getting some really tough shots in such a low-budget non-name film. Now, the problem is...it’s a confusing film to start with, such as who is the killer and why, who makes the tapes and why. But the film is almost entirely taped confessions and victim pleadings. It’s downright disturbing at times and not for the squeamish! With that said, the film doesn’t always have the best acting, either. The guy who plays the investigating cop looked confused on what his job actually was. He was downright awful! Comparison: Diary of a Serial Killer meets Rough Draft |
