- written June 22nd, 2011

- Seregon O'Dassey is the star of several movies, including "Cleric". Anyone looking for more info on Seregon or her films, can visit her at her IMDB page or her website: www.seregonodassey.com.

Q: Hi Seregon, glad to have you back again. Without giving too much away for later questions, what have you been up to since we last talked (October 2009)?

A: A lot! I filmed “Witches Brew” in Baltimore, MD and “Cut” in Albany both in 2010 and I just wrapped “Knuckleheads” with Steven Bauer in the Hamptons, and also “Scrooge in the Hood” in which I played the Ghost of Christmas Past and helped to produce in Boston. I’m currently shooting “Goth Child 2” and a web series (which I can’t fully discuss at the moment), and I’m about to fly out to Minnesota to shoot “Girl Scout Cookies”. Later this year I film “Scream Queen Campfire, then I go back to Massachusetts to shoot “The Devil’s Nightmare” and I’m currently helping to raise funds for a sci fi feature in which I am also the lead called “Gilgamesh” in Boston. Whew!

Q: I know we’ve talked a lot about "Cleric” in the past. Is there anything us fans need to know about?

A: I just wanted to apologize for it being 2 and a half years and it’s STILL not done! I’m more than embarrassed by that, and I have nothing to do with the reasons why. I also want to thank the loyal fans who’ve stuck with us all this time and still want to see it.

Q: You mentioned that you have a few other films due out this year. What films and when can we watch them?

A: “Cut”, “Witches Brew”, and (Hopefully!) Cleric are all scheduled to come out this year. “Scrooge in the Hood” will premiere in December, but as to a release date that will most likely be 2012 on that one.

Q: Tell me a little bit about some of your new projects. First, “Scrooge in the Hood.” How did you get involved and what’s it about?

A: It’s a parody of the age old story “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. It stars George Raynor as the pimp version of Scrooge.

The writer/director Rick Chandler (CEO and founder of Boston Film Family) actually wrote me months ago about being in his upcoming sci-fi feature “Gilgamesh”. He told me that would be a little bit later in 2012 since he was (at the time) in pre-production for “Scrooge”. I asked if it was already cast and since it wasn’t at the time he sent me the script and said the role of “Ghost of Christmas Past” was mine if I wanted it. The script was funny as hell so of course I said yes.

Q: Also…”Goth Child 2.”

A: Goth Child 2 is a sequel, although it could very well stand alone. In this one the “Rock God” Coven is told by his wife Urania (me) that he needs the blood of a certain someone to come back to life. We discover that in fact he does have someone he can use. That’s all I can say about that. Production is keeping it mostly under lock and key ;)

Q: And do tell what “Devil’s Nightmare” is all about.”

A: It’s actually a remake; it’s a modernized version of the original which was directed by Jean Brismée in 1971. It’s about the seven deadly sins. Each person in “rehab” has an addiction, and each person suffers accordingly. I play the succubus, the…um…trouble maker, hee hee.

Q: Is it true you’ll join the exceptional cast list for “Scream Queen Campfire”?

A: It is indeed! I wrote to Jonathan Moody and asked if there were any parts not yet cast. He wrote back saying he thought of me but didn’t think I’d be interested! He mentioned a role he thought would be good for me and I agreed. I get to work with Melantha Blackthorne again. We haven’t worked together since Fable.

Q: Name a guilty pleasure you have concerning your private life…maybe a tv show you hate to admit to watching or some special books or maybe some hobby you have.

A: Um, I like Lady Gaga, I’m a big Trekkie, and my new guilty pleasure is watching the new Voltron Force on Nick Toons. So I guess you could say I’m a nerd, LOL.

Q: Anything else you wish to add for my readers and visitors?

A: Please take a look at my Facebook fan page for updates - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Seregon-ODassey/55049623801

Q: Thank you very much for doing this.

A: Thank you for having me again :)
