Summary:
Clara is captured by a serial killer named Leonard who is recording his "life story" in a scrapbook. In addition to taking pictures of his victims, scraps of their clothing, and other assorted “trophies” to the book, he has forced his victims to personally write in the scrapbook about their own ordeals. But Clara may be the smartest of the bunch as she tries to reach Leonard through his own book.
Overall: This is a film that’s very difficult to watch. It’s a very disturbing film that eventually made me hope that the actress, Emily Haack, is ok. It’s a demented movie but it will keep your interest. As it proceeds you see her get raped, abused and just brutalized. And you see it all in their glorious color without any distraction. The director doesn’t give us some stuff off screen for us to "imagine," he shows us everything. And it’s wicked. It’s an excellently demented film. Go find it! Comparison: Hostel meets Misery |
