Sadist (2010)

Summary: Mike (Mike Kureth) is a small town nobody obsessed with accomplishment, prestige, and appearance. He is also a demented butcher who violates, executes, and dissects the prey he lures in using his online profile. The film offers a unique look at the dark side of social networking sites.           Overall: It’s just a 5 minute short film but really effective and catches your attention immediately. The film is really good as we see a man talking of is likes and such for what appears to be an online profile. As he talks we see him slaughter and torture women and man. We see him speak in generalities and specific images occur behind him and it’s all a beautifully effective play on the words. Really good work here!           Comparison: The Dating Game meets Hostel
