Revenge of the Stepford Wives (1980)

Summary: 10 Years after the events of the first film, Kay is in town for research on a news story and uncovers a dark conspiracy. With the help of a wife of a new town servant, she’s determined to break up the secrets and take revenge on the men!           Overall: Not sure you needed a sequel if only to make the first one end “happily” I guess. Great cast which is probably the only thing the film had going for it. They ere-wrote how the ladies become “stepford-ish” and made other changes which don’t work with the first film. I think the film in many ways was solely to mute the firestorm of the first film, and book.           Comparison: Stepford Wives meets Thelma and Louise
