Return of the Living Dead 5: Rave from the Grave (2007)

Summary: Becky, Cody and Julian are back for more but this time, they seem to have forgotten what got them here. Charles tries to sell one of the 3 remaining canisters of the evil toxin and ends up dying because of it. Now 2 weird Interpol agents decide to look for the rest of the canisters and find them…after our protagonists have siphoned off enough chemical to make mind splitting drugs from them. Here comes a college Rave party and everyone finding these zombie drugs and taking them, leading to a nice zombie finale that leads everyone a little “un-dead.”           Overall: I really think the film and the characters forgot what transpired in the first film. Yeah they’re all still friends but no mention of the deaths and other hi-jinks from the prior film, especially as people start to die in extremely similar ways. That sorta disappointed me, considering the films were shot back to back. It tries to be a fun film with various Romanian actors trying all sorts of accents that they can’t do justice to. I think the T&A is probably the only thing that’ll keep the audience tuned into the movie because the plot and follow-up sure will not. Not a good film, just as bad as the previous film.
