Overall: The things I liked about the film…It had some really nice animated backgrounds. Some really good effects and shots and ideas ion the animation creation process. What I didn’t like about the film…everything else. This was frankly, unwatchable. It’s like watching a video game play by itself for 90 minutes. I put the game on “computer player” and let it go and this is what it gave me. The people look wooden and unexciting. The plot has nothing to do with the movies so you can’t use that background there. The voices are that of the games, not of the movies. Overall it seemed like a giant waste of time. If I wanted this, I’d have purchased the many games available for the video game platforms. If I want a movie, I’d rather have something connected to the 3 films. It was just such a disconnect and a waste of time. Skip it. I beg of you! Comparison: House of the Dead meets Resident Evil 1 |
