Summary: Two girls hitch a ride from someone they think they can trust. After all, the driver is a woman. They endure humiliating perversions and excruciating pain. Their friendship warps as they are forced to perform sexual acts on each other for the twisted amusement of their captor. Escape is no easy thing to accomplish - they know they only have one chance because if they fail they will be killed. This movie explores the cycle of cruelty - how pain does not end with the victim. The ripples touch many, setting off new waves of torment.
Overall: Who would have thunk it…a “rape” film without men… It’s a very circular film as the title implies. We see one girl start the process torturing and humiliating another, only to find out what’s been happening with those women separately. For the most part this might be the best Bill Zebub film I’ve watched. Sure, it’s a demented and disturbing film but that’s all because it’s nicely acted with a decent story line. It’s probably the most cohesive of his films that I’ve found so if you can stay with the story, the overall plot of the film, you’ll find a fairly dramatic but well constructed film. Good job here.
