Andre Toulon's puppets haven't given up on anything yet and this time they want to resurrect their dead master. 5 paranormal researchers though have taken over the Bodega Bay Inn for scientific study - considering that Alex went mad after the last film and Megan (Neil's wife) lost the home to the state went she died via brain extraction by persons unknown. They relive the history of Toulon's life as they end up disappearing one by one. The puppets, it seems, needs brain fluids for the special serum that keep them all alive, including a mystery owner - Eriquee Chanee. The puppets in this installment are Leech Woman, Jester, Driller, Blade, Pinhead and Torch. While Eriquee (Andre Toulon) revisits old memories, the researchers are looking for a way out. But never double-cross your puppets!
Overall: A fairly useless sequel which only seems to kill off one puppet so as to add another. Film introduces Ilsa, Andre's wife, whom will become more of a fixture in later sequels but the film really just resembles "Darkman." Given the way the series goes later, the explanation in this film for the green serum is probably most realistic. But this is the only film that portrays Andre as a bad guy.
