Summary: In a stateside hotel during the height of World War II, young Danny Coogan wants to join the war effort. But he discovers that 2 Nazi Spies, along with a female Japanese saboteur, plan to attack American Soil! He will do everything he can to stop them!
Overall: I will say I really try hard to like Charles Band and Full Moon Features. So although I wanna be a shill for them, I still gotta point out the inconsistencies. The first film established Toulon’s death in 1939 so with that in mind, the entire plot here can’t happen since this film sorta pushes his death a few years into the active war already. In addition, you’ll notice the American flag had too many stars for the fact they didn’t have 50 states of our Union until 1959… I think as much as I was looking forward to the film, the fact the film basically lacked puppets for much of the film was a bit of a turn-off. I wanted the puppets interacting and such and we saw too many people, not enough puppets. This is really for the puppet master fans more than regular ole movie viewers. They use a lot of stock footage so it’s best to have seen some of the films before. Comparison: Puppet master meets Inglorious Basterds |
