Summary: A Halloween prank goes terribly wrong which results in Jonathan killing his sister’s boyfriend. Well, it's one year later, in the town of Karver and these events are being remembered by the 2 of them. Sis figures that going to a Halloween party is a good way to get to know new people, but it doesn’t go quite that well. Seems a sinister force is back to show Jonathan what he did was wrong!

Overall: I will say that I liked Amy Weber and her performance but frankly she may have been the best part of the movie. The story wasn’t all that great and we have way too many discussions of “carving” without truly knowing what they’re getting it. Well, we know but they never truly explain it.

I think one problem with the film is the ending is confusing as to whether or not our victim was truly dead, possessed, some weird spirit was there or if it was all in brother’s head to begin with.

But unfortunately the biggest problem for me was the outfit of our bad guy. The mask was so obviously fake that it was constantly distracting. Instead of it being more like “Ghostface killer” in “Scream” this was looking ½ outfit, ½ mutated face…but never came off as either. It looked bad and not well thought out. And as for the character of Rachel, the makeup was just atrocious as she’s being sliced up. It looked really, really fake.
