Summary: Warlords, crocs...killers. Everyone is in the wrong place at the wrong time!

Overall: There are few movies that get as poorly marketed as this film did. I’d hope the people involved got themselves fired for this mess, but I sorta doubt it. Needless to say, all the trailers for the film portrayed this as a serial killer movie. They even said “serial killer” and yet when people finally watched the movie, realized it was a killer crocodile, all the air went out of the movie gross. Frankly, the film never had a chance with the expectations and remarkable, that’s not the only thing wrong with the film.

Watching this movie it’s like watching “Blood Diamond” with a crocodile occasionally appearing in it. For the first 45 minutes, you get almost no croc shots and all political commentary on Africa. BY the end, we finally get the scary animal movie we started watching, but frankly, the film spends way too much time on the poverty in Africa, the corruptness of Africa, the backstabbing in Africa and when the croc does appear, you sorta go “oh yeah, forgot about that.”

The crocodile isn’t mutated, the CGI is just ok, and frankly, we need less politics, more horror. The film was poorly conceived from the start and it never got better from there. Please skip!
