Summary: It's the year 2054 and the planet is dying. Anna Millhouse will be one of the first people living on a new planet in hopes of establishing a colony there. One day, more lucky people will join and survive and have peace. Problem is, there's a hidden evil on this planet and this may be the last time anyone lives on this planet, ever!!!           Overall: Another fantastic story by the brilliant Gwyn Duffy (author's photo above). We have a very vivid, descriptive and haunting science fiction story that creeps up on you and has you looking over your shoulder in fright.           The power of the story is the visuals. The people, the planet, the interiors and exteriors. All of it is painted just so, to give us an insight into Gwyn's futuristic world. Then, brilliantly enough, we see just little enough of the creature to scare the crap out of us as the new residents begin to disappear.           The end is perfect too, as the remaining survivors are doing all they can to escape as the planet's inhabitants are planning their own farewell party for their prey.           Make sure you visit her web sites for more of her brilliance: myspace.com/gwynduffy & twitter.com/gwynduffy.
