The Plague of Zombies (1966)

Summary: Young folks are dying because of a mysterious epidemic in a little town in England. Doctor Thompson asks Professor Forbes for help. The professor and his daughter travel to the city but find weird things happening! Professor Forbes thinks that black magic is involved and someone is bringing the dead back to life.           Overall: I think this film could have been much better but frankly the film’s real problem was its cast and characters. No one especially good was cast here (as opposed to adding Peter Cushing or Christopher Lee) and frankly as fun as the love interest daughter might have been, she got in the way of the “dad” character. Frankly, nothing really worth watching here.           Comparison: White Zombie meets Serpent and the Rainbow
