Orphan (2009)

Summary: Wanting one more child, a couple with 2 kids of their own decides to adopt. They get Esther and they realize she’s such a smart girl. But she also has a temper and frankly, a need to get even. And even her parents will have their hands full!!!           Overall: Very interesting film with a superb ending. Frankly, the basic plot has been done before…evil kids, picking on the other kids. Been there, done that but the ending is what makes the film worth it. The girl is just evil enough and also just smart enough to keep you wondering what the twist is. And that’s worth your time. Really freaky!           I will add though that I felt the deleted scenes were important enough that they should have been added in. I thought there were some good, exciting scenes there. As for the alternate ending, it was more freaky but properly cut.           Comparison: The Bad Seed meets The Good Child
