Onechanbara: Samurai Bikini Squad (2008)

Summary: The dead are back from the dead thanks to an evil scientist, Dr. Sugita, looking to create a loyal army. But looking to find and kill him are a trio seeking revenge..a swordswoman, Aya, in cowboy hat and bikini, her partner, Katsuji and a stranger, Reiko. Aya is seeking retribution for the murder of her father, Reiko wants vengeance for the death of her daughter, and Katsuji looking to rescue his kidnapped sister. Aya wishes to find her sibling Saki as well knowing that the sister’s involvement in their father’s death was a little too close for her liking. Game on!           Overall: You know…just because this works as a video game doesn’t mean you need to make a movie out of it. And if you make one about Japanese bikini samurai’s…gotta do better with the bikini portion… 1 bikini, a very uninteresting story, and just way too much sword fighting and not enough plot. Skip it.           Comparison: Resident Evil meets Oblivion
