Neighbor (2009)

Summary: A mysterious new woman arrives in suburban neighborhood and quickly sets out to terrorize the streets. She starts breaking into homes and torturing the occupants. But will anyone be able to stop her before she moves on?           Overall: So…I really liked the concept. I really liked the ideas. I liked our lead actress. She’s seductive, attractive, but very cold and calculating. But the film’s #1 positive is also the #1 negative. The gore. It’s soooooo over the top, it starts to look fake after awhile. There’s so much cutting, sawing, slicing, bloodletting, that after awhile it simply doesn’t look real. And frankly the victims just don’t look pained enough! I really wanted to enjoy this but…I couldn’t buy it after awhile.           Comparison: She’s Crushed meets Hostel
