They can’t stand each other…until one event finally transforms their relationship. Problem is, someone is gonna end up dead!
Overall: Well I’ve read and watched a lot of sick and twisted stuff fin my time, then there is Elizadeth Hetherington’s book. It’s pretty out there and for all its gross and sick analogies, it’s a “can’t put it down” book. The more you read, the more involved you get with which person is trying to kill whom, the more you wanna find out how it ends! I think the book starts off trying to shock, trying to gross you out and yet about midway through it picks up steam as it sends you to the shocking ending. We have some odd individuals where you’re just not sure if they’re just trying to show off, trying to be different for the sake of being different. Or maybe they’re just plain psycho. The parents are clearly needing some time in mental institutions as they abuse and berate each other. But the book has a very interesting undercurrent of “nature vs. nurture.” What does the product of your environment affect your physical and hereditary being. In this instance one of the girls is due to be a killer by genetic alone…however the environment and upbringing is gonna have an impact. Question is, will it matter? Definitely a fascinating book and a must purchase for your collection! |
