Summary: It is thirty years after the Banning expedition to Egypt to find the tomb of Princess Ananka. Mehemet Bey, a disciple of the cult of Akran, travels to Mapleton with the mummy of Kharis to exact revenge on Stephen Banning and his family. While there, Bey becomes obsessed with Isobel Evans, the fiancée of Banning’s son John, and determines that she will be his immortal bride.

Overall: We get a ton of flashbacks to the previous film “The Mummy’s Hand” and then it simply proceeds from there all for revenge. However it’s these sort of films which sorta kill the “Mummy” franchises. Slow plodding Mummy that isn’t scary rampaging through New England. Blah!

Comparison: The Mummy meets National Treasure
