- Michelle Shields has appeared in many movies, including "Post Mortem America 2021." Anyone looking for more info on Michelle or her films, can visit her at her IMDB page or her Facebook page.

Q: Ms. Shields, can you explain how you first got into the movie business?

A: Well I’ve been acting all my life. I was in all the school productions from kindergarten to college getting lead roles in high school and college. At age 15 I auditioned for a film and was cast as a 80s college punk rocker.

Q: Would you please explain your acting role in your latest film, "Post Mortem America 2021."

A: I play a cyber punk hit woman in a post apocalyptic world filled with zombies. One of the best things about this film for me was that I had the opportunity to work with an amazing actress that I have always admired, Linnea Quigley! We had great screen chemistry together.

Q: Knowing how movie reviews may skew the perception of one's product, give us in your own words what you want people to know about the film.

A: Cameron Scott, the writer/director of this film, has done a FANTASTIC job bringing together a great cast and crew to make his vision come alive. He has made personal sacrifices and overcome many obstacles for his art. This film will be a cult classic and I’m very proud to be part of it<3

Q: If there were one part of the filming that was more difficult than you expected, what would that be? Getting a costume to work? Appearing in a certain scene? Certain lines?

A: There were no difficulties that occurred when I was on set. I did make my own costume including the wig but even that went smoothly.

Q: Was there any one day, one moment where you just knew the film would work the way you thought it could?

A: Yes, when I seen the talent that was in this film. Linnea Quigley, Jim O’Rear, and Monique Dupree just to mention a few.

Q: Can you tell me a little bit about other films and projects you have worked on.

          A: Sure, here’s a list of some:

Mountain Mafia
Post Mortem, America 2021
Grave Robbers From Outer Space
Sister Mary
Reality Star
Public Enemies
Path of the Dead
Working Title
Batman: The Dark Night
Fred Claus
Voices from the Graves
Timeserver
Also a cast member on TVs the “World of the Weird Monster Show”.
"I am also featured in several comic books through Comic Book Divas, created by Jeff Hughs and illusted by Dennis Willman".
Plus an exclusive for your readers, I just found out that I have the female lead in “Frankenstein 2011”!

Q: What do you look for when picking projects?

A: Good Script and great characters. I look for something I would be interesting in watching and something that I can be proud of.

Q: Anything you wish to add for my readers and visitors? Something special about you that they probably do not know?

A: My hobbies include comic books (BIG Batman nerd and love Vertigo), video games (I love RPGs, shooters, and strategy games. I can’t wait for Fallout New Vegas!), and building horror and superhero models. Q: Finally...this is an "Obscure Horror Movie" website. Can you name the last horror movie you watched either at the theatres or on dvd, etc? How about name a favorite horror film that you have seen that most people probably haven't seen?

A: Well truthfully that last horror movie I watched was Behind the Mask. I love how well done that movie was I just felt like watching it :) I love many different horror films that I either grew up with or found along the way. I could say Motel Hell, Feast, May, Dead & Breakfast, House of 1000 Corpses, Dead-Alive, the Gate, the list could go on and on. However, my favorite horror movie has and always will be Return of the Living Dead with Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 a close second :)

Q: Thank you very much for doing this.

A: Thank you for asking me
- END -
