Maniac on the Loose (2008)

Summary: Melissa has arrived at the house of her blind date, Alex, and is just looking to have a nice day. Problem is, Alex isn’t home and Max instead answers. Soon she’ll realize this day is gonna get a little too interesting and it might have something to do with the escaped serial killer from the local asylum!           Overall: So many twists and turns in this film force me to keep many plot elements to myself. Darn that Steve Hudgins! I will say, it’s a pretty good film. I think the average viewer will be able to predict some of the twists but not all of them because Steve has done a great job meshing his story together. I liked them all and made the film a lot more fascinating as it continued on. Steve gives us a nice performance as “Max” and he assembled a fairly decent ensemble here. I would totally recommend this film to others and tell you to stay on the look out for films by Steve Hudgins!           Comparison: Halloween meets Switchback
