Summary: A vulnerable woman, years of cheating boyfriends and finally an abusive husband--a perfect setup for revenge. But what if you're too beaten down to take things into your own hands? What if you just want out, just want them all to go away...and then what if it happens?

This is Manhater, an indie movie that reaches beyond typical low-budget horror fare and delivers something one step better--a good, unique story.

Overall: The film seems fairly straightforward. You’d think it was all from like “Thinner”: Good old fashioned curse film. But the film has more to it that that. We have the woman who needs some help from the guys but she also doesn’t know, until its too late, why she was the “lucky” one. And that extra detail, the extra plot work, that makes the film a whole lot better. And hey, you gotta love our creature “Enyo.” Great work by our actress here portraying the creature…various get-ups and wardrobe changes and bottom line, she’s a real “man-eater!” Good work here by “Ariel X.”
