Live Evil (2009)

Summary: The vampire population is struggling to survive because us humans have been poisoning our bodies with alcohol, drugs, disease, etc. Vampires need “pure blood”, and since there is so litte, they’ve turned on each other. However one group of vampires, led by Benedict heading west to Los Angeles to find some pure blood However they’re being chased by a vampire hunter who doubles as both a priest and samurai warrior.           Overall: The film albeit low budget had such a nice cast. I was fairly impressed for that reason alone, considering I’m a fan of Tim Thomerson and Tiffany Shepis. It’s a nice little film that although can be slow at times, definitely tried really hard. We had some nice effects and even an amazing car crash scene. Some really nice ideas here and I think the whole vampire baby ending was a unique and =entertaining climax.           Comparison: John Carpenter’s Vampires meets Once Bitten
